Understand the People Side of Change

Change does not happen just because a new process, system, or strategy is announced. Learn how people experience change, why resistance happens, and what leaders can do to create greater clarity, support, and movement.

Use Practical Change Frameworks

Stop guessing. Master five battle-tested change-management models: the Change Curve, Lewin's Change Model, Kotter's Eight-Step Process, ADKAR, and the Bridges Transition Model. You'll know exactly which tool to use for any change scenario you face.

Apply Real-World Tools Immediately

This isn't theoretical. You'll work through interactive scenarios, use practical tools, and complete reflection exercises designed for real workplace situations. Every lesson comes with downloadable resources you can use with your own teams right away.

About the Course

Organizational change may begin with a new system, process, structure, policy, or strategic direction, but successful change ultimately depends on how people understand, experience, and adopt what is changing. Leading Through Change is designed for managers, supervisors, team leads, project leaders, HR professionals, change champions, and others responsible for helping people navigate workplace change. You will learn how to recognize common reasons change efforts stall, diagnose where adoption may be getting stuck, communicate the purpose and expectations of change more effectively, respond thoughtfully to resistance, and reinforce new behaviors so the change has a better chance of lasting. Throughout the course, you will examine both the mechanics of change and the human transition that happens underneath it, using practical frameworks, scenarios, and tools that can be applied to real workplace situations. The goal is not to eliminate discomfort or manufacture agreement. The goal is to create enough clarity, trust, support, communication, and accountability for people to move through change productively.

Built for Real-World Change

Change rarely unfolds exactly as planned. People may understand what is changing but still struggle to support it. They may know what to do but lack the confidence, resources, or practice to do it consistently. Others may be navigating uncertainty, loss, competing priorities, or legitimate concerns that have not yet been addressed. This course helps you look beyond the surface reaction and ask better questions: ✓ What is really getting in the way of adoption? ✓ What does this person or team need right now? ✓ Is the issue communication, capability, transition, support, or accountability? By learning to diagnose the challenge before choosing the response, you can lead change more intentionally and avoid treating every form of resistance as the same problem.
